Thermal Insulation Tube, Single-Layer EPE

EPE Foam is composed of an infinite number of independent bubbles through the physical foaming of low density polyethylene. EPE foam has advantages as Waterproof, shockproof, sound insulation, heat preservation, good plasticity, toughness, recycling, environmental protection, strong impact force etc., it also has the very good chemical resistance.

The EPE Foam Material has main characteristics as follows:.

1, Thermal Insulation: the material has a fine independent bubble structure (closed holes), there is fixed air inside the bubbles, and the polyethylene plastic as the base material is a poor conductor of heat, so it has very low thermal conductivity, and excellent cooling effect.

2, Waterproof: EPE Foam material has closed holes structure, which is hardly breathable and does not absorb water. Therefore, it can be used as life saving floating equipment on water. It will not reduce the heat preservation effect by not absorbing water when used for thermal insulation material.

3, Weatherability: The material is made of polyethylene plastics through chemical crosslinking. Adhering to the excellent properties of polyethylene, it has good weatherability and good physical properties for long term use.

4, Middle and Low Temperature Use: Within temperature of -40℃ ~ +100℃, its physical properties changes very slightly, so it is very suitable for chilled air-conditioning, water heat Preservation and thermal insulation of buildings.

5, Chemical Resistance: EPE can withstand general oil, acid, alkali and other chemical substances.

6, Workability: EPE Foam is easy to process and cut, large size for less seam lines, and increase heat preservation and insulation effect.

7, Fire Resistance: By adding flame retardant the EPE foam can be used as thermal insulation material with Class B2 flame retardance and has good fire resistance ability.
